Using words as weapons, for women — all of whom are trauma survivors — are learning to fight trauma through poetry. Writing poetry serves as a great way to heal from trauma, and it provides a safe space for the women to process and express their emotions.

If you’d like to perform, let us know when you sign up. Spaces to read your poetry are limited per session and are at a first come first serve basis. You will be notified via email if you will be performing at the event. Performers should make time to arrive 10 min before the event starts.
