Cost of our Services

HSTAR Scotland is a non-profit organisation that provides trauma recovery services to individuals in the Forth Valley and Central Belt of Scotland. Our primary goal is to offer these services free of charge or at a low cost to those in need. However, as a non-profit organisation, we rely solely on public funding and donations to sustain our operations.

At present, the availability of our free counselling services is dependent on the geographical area of funding that we have. Currently, we are proud to offer free mental health wellbeing support consultations, safety planning, and coping strategies support to all women across Scotland. We believe that every woman deserves access to these essential services, regardless of their financial means.

While we strive to make our services accessible to as many people as possible, our free counselling availability depends on financial funding affordability. However, we are actively seeking additional financial support in order to expand our free therapy offerings to individuals throughout Scotland.

For those women who need access trauma-informed and person centred therapies and reside in not eligible for free sessions areas, we do provide partially funded therapies at a charitable rate of £30 per session. We understand that this may still present a financial burden for some individuals, but it allows us to continue providing valuable services while also covering some of the costs associated with therapy.

We are committed to ensuring that trauma recovery services are accessible to all individuals in Scotland, regardless of their financial situation. We are actively working to secure additional funding and donations to extend our free therapy services to individuals across the country. We encourage those who are interested in supporting our mission to consider making a donation or reaching out to us to discuss potential partnerships.
